Sound baths
A sound bath is a full body meditative experience where you are immersed in deep sound vibrations. When you sink into a Sound Bath and guide your awareness to the sounds, you allow your brain waves to slow, shifting from an active state to a more relaxed state, or even a dreamlike state.

What to expect
The experience is done with each person lying down or seated comfortably and supported, often with a blanket, bolster/pillow and eye masks. Basically whatever will support you in being as comfortable as possible. After a guided focus on the breath through meditation, the remainder of the experience is filled with different sounds being introduced in succession. There may be crystals placed on or around the body, and bowls on top of or over the body if consented to prior to session.
Arrival:
Feel free to arrive as early as 20 minutes prior to your session to take advantage of optional activities such as drawing an oracle card and setting intentions with a journal prompt. This extra time allows you to personalize your experience and enhance your journey into relaxation and sound healing.
After:
You will be given a comfortable amount of time afterwards to ground yourself, hydrate and share your experience with others.
FAQs

You sit or lie down in a comfortable and support position with eyes closed. Then, you simply listen to the sounds and stay present with what is felt during the experience.
If it’s challenging for you to keep your eyes shut at any point, you are always welcome to open your eyes. I encourage you to do whatever is necessary to feel comfortable.

I suggest wearing comfortable clothes and dressing in layers in case you get hot or cold.

No. I will provide any necessary props, although I do recommend bringing a journal. Soundbaths can bring up many emotions. Taking time to journal after the soundbath can be an incredible opportunity for self reflection.
